Cookies & Tracking Technologies Notice
1. Overview
This Cookies & Tracking Technologies Notice explains how RCI Builders, its affiliates, subsidiaries, and related entities (referred to in this Notice as “RCI Builders,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) uses cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies when you access or use our website and related online services (collectively, the “Services”). We use Cookies and Tracking Technologies to operate and secure our website, understand how visitors interact with it, improve performance and usability, and support spam prevention and security. We do not currently use Cookies and Tracking Technologies for advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising. This Notice should be read together with our Privacy Notice and Your Privacy Choices, each of which is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Use.
2. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies
We and our partners use the following categories of technologies:
- Cookies – Small data files stored on your browser or device that help websites function, remember preferences, and collect usage information.
- Pixels / Tags / Beacons – Small pieces of code embedded on pages or emails that transmit information about interactions or conversions.
- SDKs and Scripts – Software components that enable analytics, advertising, performance monitoring, fraud prevention, and integrations with third-party services.
- Session Replay and Interaction Monitoring – Technologies that record or analyze how users interact with pages (such as mouse movements, scrolling, or clicks) to improve site functionality, diagnose errors, and enhance user experience.
Together, these technologies are referred to in this Notice as “Cookies and Tracking Technologies.”
3. Categories of Cookies and Tracking Technologies We Use
The categories below describe how Cookies and Tracking Technologies are used on the RCI Builders website. These categories may be grouped differently within our preference center (for example, under categories such as Essential and Analytics), where you can manage your settings. Based on our current website configuration, RCI Builders uses Cookies and Tracking Technologies for spam protection on our contact form and Careers page form, website security, and analytics as described below. RCI Builders does not currently use advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising technologies or session replay tools, but this may change as our website and services develop.
A. Essential / Strictly Necessary
These technologies support essential website functionality and security, including:
- Using reCAPTCHA v3 through Contact Form 7 to help protect our contact form and Careers page form from spam and automated abuse
Because reCAPTCHA v3 supports essential spam protection, disabling it may affect your ability to use our contact form and Careers page form.
B. Analytics and Performance Monitoring
RCI Builders uses Google Analytics through gtag.js, including the Universal Analytics property UA-139381715-1 and its linked GA4 property G-69ZZCJ6QV8, to understand how visitors use the website and to improve its functionality, reliability, and user experience. Google Analytics collects:
- IP addresses and other online identifiers
- Page views, navigation paths, and related website interaction data
- Device and browser information
C. Advertising, Marketing, and Cross-Context Behavioral Advertising
RCI Builders does not currently deploy advertising pixels, Meta Pixel, HubSpot tracking, LinkedIn Insight Tag, retargeting tools, or other advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising technologies on the website. We reserve the right to update this Notice if our practices change.
D. User Experience Analytics and Session Replay
RCI Builders does not currently use session replay, heat-mapping, or other interaction-monitoring tools on the website.
E. Customer Support and Communications Tools
RCI Builders uses Contact Form 7, a WordPress plugin, to support submissions through our contact form and Careers page form. Contact Form 7 is integrated with reCAPTCHA v3 for spam protection. These tools may process identifiers and interaction information associated with requests submitted through our contact form and Careers page form.
F. Fraud Prevention and Security
reCAPTCHA v3, integrated with Contact Form 7, helps prevent spam, automated abuse, and other security threats associated with our contact form and Careers page form. It may analyze device and browser signals and other information needed for security and fraud-prevention purposes.
4. Data Types Involved
Depending on the technology and purpose, Cookies and Tracking Technologies used on the website may process:
- Online identifiers and device or browser information (such as cookies, IP addresses, and device identifiers)
- Internet or network activity information (such as page views, navigation data, and interactions with the website)
5. Your Choices and Controls
You can manage your preferences for non-essential Cookies and Tracking Technologies at any time by clicking the Manage Preferences link. This will open our preference center, where you can enable or disable certain categories of Cookies and Tracking Technologies. After making your selections, you must click “Save” to apply your preferences. Your preferences are applied at the browser and device level and may need to be set separately across different browsers or devices.
You have several options to manage Cookies and Tracking Technologies:
- Cookie Controls: Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Please note that essential cookies are required for our Services to function properly.
- Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing / Targeted Advertising: You may opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising through Your Privacy Choices or by opening the preference center: Manage Preferences.
- Global Privacy Control (GPC): Where required by law, we recognize browser-based opt-out signals such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC).
- Industry Opt-Out Tools: You may also opt out of interest-based advertising through industry programs such as the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) or the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA).
Because RCI Builders does not currently use advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising technologies on the website, these choices do not currently affect advertising from RCI Builders. Even if you opt out of targeted advertising, we may continue to use certain information for essential operations, analytics that do not involve cross-context behavioral advertising, fraud prevention, and other permitted purposes. Your preferences do not affect data collection or use that is necessary to operate our Services, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, or otherwise permitted by law. You may revisit and update your preferences at any time by reopening the preference center through the Manage Preferences link available on our Services.
6. Changes to This Cookies & Tracking Technologies Notice
